The present localities of Rossmoyne, Park wood and Shelley were all then obvious as Riverton. The improvements to the Club premises and surrounds have been successive over the life of the Club. With the increase in the size of the club, the size of the prohibit the installment of a man-made green just to name a scanty of the improvements. Over the years our Club has been capable to aid our neighboring Clubs with the use of our greens and facilities. We have also played host to many state and country events. Another highlight was in 1989 when the Australian Police Carnival was held here. What the Club has achieved over the end 50 years to donate us the exquisite premises and surrounds that we have today, can only be attributed to the solid voluntary work provided by its members both former and present. Coaching classes for all levels and age groups, including primary and lofty school students, are available. The Club is located in Tuscan Street, Rossmoyne and is popular for that special evening of Bowling in pleasing surroundings. The Club’s function facilities are ideal for events such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. Social functions can include a game of bowls to add something a small different. The Club has three greens all under lights. Slow in 2012 our two grass greens were converted to man-made surfaces by Berry Bowling Systems. This provides a year round facility and is particularly capable to evening bowls. Premature in 2016 our remaining green was upgraded from a man-made carpet installation to an Evergreen Ultra Plus surface. This gives the Club a variety of surfaces for practice and competition. Bowls is our major sporting activity and there is also a Dart Club which competes at various venues around Perth on Tuesday evenings during winter. The Club has a fully licensed forbid and lounge where you and your guests can relax with a cold beer or a glass of wine. So join us for a scanty drinks and the chance to succeed a prize in the raffle draws. We have coaching classes for all levels and age groups, including primary and high school students. People interested in learning to play bowls, should call the club to arrange a time to come along and have an initial trial session with Alan Petchell who is our coaching coordinator. Coaching classes for new bowlers are held at times pertinent for both parties. Data is taken directly online from the Bowls WA Competition Portal. During the year our social committee provides social events for members and friends. There are two choices of enter, dinner and sweets, with Tea and Coffee available. The Bowling Club relies on local businesses as healthy as individuals to sponsor the Club.
