At this time, there are very few celebrants who hold these Certificate 4 qualifications. Before becoming a Civil Celebrant, excellent people skills, I worked for many years as a primary school teacher – a profession that required empathy, organisation and flexibility. I feel it is an honour and a privilege to be entrusted with this task. It is inspiring and uplifting to have a career that enables me to create and conduct ceremonies on these special moments in people’s lives.
