Since inception in 1994 NOW has significantly expanded its operations throughout Australia and give services in mining, civil, drill and blast, maintenance, and oil gas. Dennis has had an extensive career spanning 30 years in the polite construction and resources industry and has held key senior management positions throughout Australia. Keith has 30 years’ industry experience, with over 20 years in senior human resources roles. Alex has 35 years’ experience within the mining industry. As the company increased in size, NOW established a dedicated Safety Division. NOW Holdings acquired Action Mining Services (ABS), a provider of compressed equipment maintenance services as a urge for the courteous and mining business and to act as a business operating in its own right. NOW successfully diversified into fresh markets, with its first coal project in Queensland (Middlemount) as healthy as its first oil and gas earthworks contract for Chevron’s Wheatstone Project. In 2013, Action Drill Blast were awarded two important contracts. The beginning was a four year contract to provide drilling services direct to Fortescue Metals Group at the Cloudbreak mine. Established in 1994, NOW continues to operate as a leading contractor in the mining and polite construction industries. At the time, Jules Pemberton NOW’s Managing Director and CEO said, NOW has worked closely with Middlemount to deliver a new operating model which will produce meaningful benefit to both parties during the remaining contract term. NOW was founded in Kalgoorlie in 1994 and the name NOW was derived from an initial of each of the co founders. Earlier too long, we were one of the leading failings dam constructors in the region and we also landed our beginning lengthy term major contract for West lime in Dongara, WA. 1996 was an exciting year for NOW as we moved into our fresh headquarters, which for the first time also had a fully operational workshop. What looked like something from a wreckers' yard was rebuilt, refurbished, refitted and was transformed into our first prime mover.
